Corvus helicopter in flight representing charter service, utility aviation, and aerial project support.

Utility & External Load Operations

Versatile utility helicopter operations for infrastructure, construction, and logistics across challenging terrain.

What We Do

Corvus LLC provides helicopter support for construction, infrastructure, and remote logistics projects where aerial lifting and precision placement are required. Helicopters offer an efficient solution for transporting and installing materials in locations that are difficult or impossible to access with ground equipment. Our aircraft are equipped for external load (sling) operations and Human External Cargo (HEC), allowing crews to safely lift, transport, and precisely place materials or personnel in challenging terrain and remote environments.

Mission Profiles

Why Helicopters for Utility Work?

Helicopter utility operations eliminate the need for large ground equipment, minimize environmental disturbance, and allow complex projects to be completed safely and on schedule. Corvus LLC partners with utility companies, construction contractors, government agencies, and land managers to deliver reliable aviation support across a wide range of infrastructure and logistics operations.

Many utility projects require access to locations where road construction would be prohibitively expensive, environmentally damaging, or simply impossible. Helicopters remove that barrier entirely enabling work in mountains, wilderness areas, and remote terrain without the cost or impact of building ground access.

External load capability puts materials exactly where they're needed: tower sections on mountaintops, concrete to remote foundations, equipment to sites miles from the nearest road. That precision, combined with the time savings helicopter operations provide, often makes aerial support more economical than conventional alternatives, even before accounting for the environmental benefits of keeping heavy equipment and roads out of sensitive areas.
